Zombie Dream

Had a dream about the zombie apocalypse the other night...it was kinda scary...I eventually woke up and had to turn the TV on for awhile to go back to sleep.  I don't remember a ton but I was with a group of strangers and we were in a small, unfamiliar town that had a couple big warehouses that we were trying to infiltrate to live in as a safe place.  They accidentally gave me a fake, plastic gun that looked real and stuck me in a small room at night to sleep in.  But a little girl zombie was sleeping (? I guess they sleep in my dreams...) next to the small mattress and woke up.  I spent the rest of the night trying to hold her back and bash in her head with a plastic gun which obviously wasn't working.  The door was locked for safety from the outside too and nobody came to my screams until morning.  They killed the zombie girl and I went out on my own after that to try and find a safer place or town.  I ended up returning after no avail by myself and the group had only infiltrated the first floor of the two floor warehouse.  The second floor was still packed with zombies.  After that is when I basically woke up.

The New Year 2012!

After some CRAZY and incredibly BUSY holidays, 2012 is finally here! I turned 21 on January 3, and I think I'm going through some serious changes.  This is definitely a milestone year for my life I think.  I'm moving out of my apartment and into a house at the end of next month and am SO excited! I'll be back in my high school town of WJ and never thought I'd even want to live in a house until I absolutely had to years from now! But I'm very excited :). I saw a lot of family this past year and the start of this year that I also haven't seen for a couple years and it's helped with some of the changes I think I'm going through.  It was amazing to see them.  Anyways, I'll try and update this more often but since it's the year of the maybe "Apocalypse" I may be busy getting ready for that lol! ;)

Write a letter to help yourself out! Try it!

I was saving this to keep for myself, but found (through personal experience and psychology classes) that writing all the things that have once hurt you (especially past loves, family problems, work problems, wrong doings, etc.) helps the mind to let go and move on, or to just make you feel better.  Write it as a letter to whoever or whatever it was. Now before all of you get the wrong idea, when I said "move on" and "let go" of these things, it doesn't always mean you were holding on to that specific person, love, or problem.  It can also mean just letting go and moving on with the feelings you had that may be dwelling with you (like stress, low self-esteem, depression, low self-confidence, anger, etc.) or to just help you feel better and learn from those things.  Normally writing their actual names and the true places, times, and problems is what works best.  Just remember DO NOT show these letters you write to the actual person(s) you may be writing about, this defeats the whole purpose and I promise you it will most likely end more badly (remember there are always 2 sides to every story, you're just telling your side).  It is always good to say something good about whatever you are writing about at the end of your letter! Let it all out, be HONEST, and then put what good you got out of it or what you learned, but make it a positive thing. And then when your done...do what you will with it, keep it for future (if it helps you), or throw it out. It's worked for me.  I challenge everyone to try it.  I had to write one just a few days ago after I realized certain feelings were dwelling with me and had an angry outbreak.

I dedicated this post to all the MANY, MANY girls who have told me about all the men who have hurt them and they've hurt, and self-esteem and self-confidence issues afterwards.
